$100K India Mini Grant Fund
Team1 launched a $100,000 Mini Grant Fund to support early-stage builders across India. This program will empower local talent and help ideas go from prototype to a working product with active users. Grants will initially range from $500 to $5,000 and be awarded in phases based on progress and execution. Each grant is also connected to broader Team1 programs, including mentorship, hackathons, and in-person events.
India Hackathon Tour Announced
Kicking off in August, the Team1 India Hackathon Tour will visit six cities and offer over $25,000 in prizes, exclusive merch, and grant opportunities. Each stop will include project idea boards, hands-on mentoring, and local community connections. Builders can compete locally and showcase nationally for additional rewards.
Spanish-Language Bootcamp Launches
Team1 launched its first Spanish-language Avalanche Bootcamp with over 800 signups and nearly 300 builders joining the first live session. The multi-week virtual program combines technical workshops and a hackathon with $25,000 in prizes. Sessions cover Solidity, front-end integration, interchain messaging, and custom L1s—fully accessible online across Latin America.
Blackhole
Blackhole emerged as July’s breakout DeFi star on Avalanche.
By late July, Blackhole had become Avalanche’s largest DEX with over $250 million in TVL, peaking around $255 million. Its daily trading volume ranged between $165 million and $235 million, making it one of the top performers on the network.
DefiLlama ranks Blackhole as the third-largest dApp on Avalanche, just behind Aave and Benqi, and among the top 15 decentralized exchanges globally.
Blackhole’s unique design features dual veNFT tokenomics -Singularity and Supermassive, with no team or VC allocations. Its governance is community-driven through bribes, and its CLAMM architecture combines features from Uniswap v3, Curve, and Velodrome.
