Team1 Brasil is Officially Here
Brasil’s blockchain community is engaged and ready to build. To give this momentum a clear direction, Team1 is officially launching Team1 Brasil.
Activity began in 2024 with four contributors and has since grown into a coordinated network of more than 30 active builders, organizers, and operators, with a straightforward goal: to position Brasil as a global leader in blockchain adoption and innovation on Avalanche.
The Scale of The Movement
In just one and a half years, Team1 Brasil has become one of the most active grassroots blockchain communities in the region. More than 3,000 people have attended in-person experiences across major hubs and emerging tech cities. We’ve hosted 40+ events nationwide, built 12 university partnerships that bring Avalanche directly into academic programs, and delivered 8+ virtual workshops through the Web Workshop Series, reaching 460 participants from builders to developers across the country. Sports-focused initiatives have extended that reach even further, engaging football players and local communities in ways that go beyond the typical Web3 audience.
Brazilian communities stand out for their engagement. Participants are hands-on and eager to build at every event we host. That energy and commitment have driven consistent growth across meetups, workshops, and ecosystem activations.
Beyond Code: Real-World Builder Energy
A defining strength of Team1 Brasil is its ability to turn curiosity into execution. Most members have already hosted at least one event, and new opportunities occur daily.
From university classrooms to large-scale events like Team1 Networking Hub, the focus stays the same: build environments where people can experiment, collaborate, and ship products. Brazilian teams have shown strong results in global initiatives like Build Games, including PIX payment integrations that reflect real local use cases.
Developers are only one part of the picture. Designers, founders, gamers, and community leaders all shape a multi-dimensional ecosystem that reflects the diversity of Brasil itself.

Team1 Brasil operates with a clear thesis: blockchain is the foundation for the next generation of digital infrastructure.
The next phase centers on structured builder pathways. Students learn smart contract development and Avalanche tooling, including SDKs and custom L1 deployment. City-level initiatives run alongside these programs to keep builders connected after the first workshop ends, turning one-time participants into long-term contributors.
Education plus community is the winning formula. One without the other produces short-term spikes. But together, they build a thriving ecosystem.
