When we set out to create Lucid RED, the vision was simple but bold: combine the elite digital art of BroNzEagLe with real, sustainable rewards from vRoshi55 utilizing the top protocols of the Avalanche ecosystem. Simply put, it’s NFT meets DeFi. What started as a stealth pre-sale quickly grew into one of the most exciting projects on Avalanche. It filled instantly, proving that collectors were ready for something different. Avalanche is establishing a strong presence in the DeFi space by offering a wide range of options that can be used synergistically. We believe that the best Avalanche experience is when you use all the protocols in tandem.

Behind The Curtain

Lucid RED is more than your traditional pfp style NFT. It’s art engineered to reward holders utilizing multiple passive DeFi mechanics within the Avalanche ecosystem. With the funds raised from pre-sale, the treasury established a vePHAR position on Pharaoh Exchange, one of the chain’s most rewarding DEXs. With that position, we are able direct our emissions via a vote to desired pools to reap rewards and incentives. Furthermore, by having positions in many DeFi tokens and voting for those pools, we not only get rewarded but also strengthen the tokens themselves.

The treasury also has a position within the Salvor ecosystem. Salvor is Avalanche’s leading marketplace known for its community-first focus. Salvor returns 100% of platform fees as passive income to stakers. The treasury has both a position in the $ART token and Salvor NFTs that help the treasury grow steadily month over month.

Another example would be what FortiFi has established with their Moat system. This, as well as the numerous other DeFi positions (BlackholeDex, Apex, Abacus, Xart, 40acres Finance) allow holders to receive a monthly payout while still having consistent treasury growth.

While the metrics are impressive, Lucid RED is about more than just returns. It’s about creating a shared ecosystem where collectors feel valued, community members gain access to opportunities across the chain, and most importantly a treasury works for everyone, not just a few.

For many holders, the exposure and education to DeFi opportunities are more valuable than the monthly return alone. DeFi can be intimidating and complex, but a core part of the Lucid RED mission is to provide education and a real-world example of how these protocols work. We hope our community gains the comfort and confidence to use them independently. This vast utilization of the chain, by actively engaging with and leveraging a wide range of protocols, really drives home the core principles of the Avalanche ecosystem: we are better when working together.
