AVAX Bingo: A New On-Chain Prediction Game Built on Avalanche
AVAX Bingo turns predictions about the Avalanche ecosystem into a competitive on-chain game where strategy, timing, and a bit of luck all come into play.
AVAX Bingo is a prediction game running on the Avalanche blockchain. Players build bingo cards made up of forecasts about the Avalanche ecosystem, then earn points as those predictions are resolved by game administrators. The highest-scoring cards at the end of each game receive a share of the prize pool. The game went live on March 31, 2025.
How It Works
Each bingo card is a 5x5 grid filled with 25 predictions chosen by the player. Predictions cover topics in the Avalanche ecosystem like AVAX price movements, Avalanche network milestones, Ava Labs announcements, and social media moments. Once a card is minted as an NFT on Avalanche, the predictions and their positions on the grid are permanently stored and cannot be changed.
As real-world events happen, designated game administrators resolve predictions on-chain and attach proof links as evidence. Every card containing a resolved prediction earns the points associated with it. Cards are ranked on a leaderboard by total score, and prizes are distributed based on final rankings.
How to Play
While minting for Season 1 has ended, the process below shows how the game works and may be useful if future seasons are introduced.
Step 1: Connect Your Wallet
Visit avaxbingo.com and connect an Avalanche-compatible wallet.
Step 2: Browse Predictions
Go to the Mint page and browse the available prediction pool. Predictions span five categories: Price, Ecosystem, Social, Meta, and AvaLabs. Each prediction is labelled with a difficulty rating and a point value.
Step 3: Build Your Card
Select 25 predictions and arrange them on the 5x5 grid. The arrangement matters because it determines which bingo lines are possible. Players can drag predictions into any position they choose.
Step 4: Mint
Once all 25 slots are filled, submit a single transaction to mint your card as an NFT. The mint fee goes into the game’s prize pool. Cards cannot be edited after minting, though players can mint additional cards with different selections.
Step 5: Follow Along
After minting, watch the Prediction Tracker as events are resolved. Each resolved prediction your card contains adds to your score. The leaderboard updates dynamically as results come in, making it easy to track your standing against other players.
Step 6: Claim Rewards
When the game ends, players who place within a payout tier can claim their AVAX directly from the Claim Rewards page. Funds are paid directly to the winner’s wallet with no intermediary. If a game is cancelled, all funds are refunded.
Scoring
A card’s total score has two components: a base score and a bingo bonus.
The base score is the sum of point values from all resolved predictions on the card. Difficulty tiers are Easy (1 point), Medium (2 to 3 points), and Hard (4 to 5 points).
The bingo bonus applies when all five predictions in a line (row, column, or diagonal) are resolved. That line’s points are then multiplied by the game’s bingo multiplier. Each card has 12 possible bingo lines: 5 rows, 5 columns, and 2 diagonals. If a square is part of multiple completed lines, it is only multiplied once.
How Predictions Are Judged
Prediction resolution is handled by game administrators, but the team has also appointed a panel of five community judges to handle edge cases or disputed outcomes. If the community disagrees on whether a prediction has been fulfilled, the judges step in to make the call. A contested prediction requires 3 out of 5 judges to approve it before it is resolved.
The judges for Season 1 are ExcelBaller, Smitty, Wrathtank, giga-alpha, and voh. If a prediction involves one of the sitting judges, giraffe steps in as a replacement to avoid any conflict of interest.
Season 1 Prize Pool
Season 1 runs from April 4 to June 24, 2025. Two sponsors, @bears_salmon and @AvaxTeam1 have each contributed $2,500 worth of AVAX to the prize pool, with 100% of those contributions going to players.
With 181 cards minted, the prize pool currently stands at 1288.00 AVAX.
With payouts extending to the top 100 out of 181 cards, more than half of all participants are currently in line to receive rewards. This distribution makes the game less top-heavy than typical prediction contests, where only a small number of winners capture most of the upside.

The AVAX Bingo mint is officially over, and the game is now live. From this point onward, any predictions that are completed through June 24 will count toward the final scores.
While this is Season 1, the structure of the game suggests clear potential for future seasons if participation and engagement remain strong.
