Avalanche9000 Upgrade Boosts Performance
Following the Avalanche9000 upgrade in December 2024, the network saw a 75% reduction in transaction fees, making it more cost-effective for users and developers. This resulted in a 38% increase in daily transactions, averaging 354,691 per day—a testament to the platform’s scalability and efficiency.
On-Chain Activity
By the end of February, AVAX recorded a daily trading volume of $620.9 million. On-chain activity surged, with DeFi volume on Avalanche reaching $24.8 billion—a clear reflection of growing adoption of the Avalanche network.
Avalanche continues to nurture Web3 innovation, ensuring developers have the tools and resources to build the next generation of decentralized applications.
Codebase Season 3 Launch
Codebase Season 3, which kicked off on February 1st, opened applications for Web3 builders seeking funding, mentorship, and expert guidance. Selected teams will receive a $50,000 stipend and compete for a $500,000 prize pool, reinforcing Avalanche’s commitment to fostering blockchain innovation.

MapleStory x Avalanche
