Arts and Culture Recap December 2025
Avalanche’s growing creative ecosystem is thriving, and this recap highlights the latest milestones, standout artists, and onchain moments shaping its vibrant art community.
As the tech improves on Avalanche, so does the art community. Leading marketplaces like Salvor and Zeroone are providing artists with a digital landscape to share their work and gain a following. With so many new artists emerging online, the best time to be involved in art on Avalanche is now. In this recap, I’ll cover the latest from our community, and showcase artwork from talented creators onchain.
Ludovica speaks at Cornell University
Co-founder, CEO of innovative art marketplace Zeroone visits Ivy League school Cornell, famously known for the birthplace of Avalanche & Ava Labs. You can read more about Zeroone’s mission here. The art marketplace aspires to rethink how creativity holds value today, with a create-to-collect model driving what Zeroone calls the cultural distribution engine.
It’s impressive to see the interest of a digital art marketplace from a prestigious institution. Zeroone is also making waves across the globe with their Avalanche Team1 partnership, supporting artists with IRL events in over 50 countries. Vero raffles latest artwork
Iconic artist Vero stuns with this latest piece. The artwork is inspired by C-chan, an enigmatic character born on Avalanche’s main liquidity hub, C-chain. Vero’s style is ethereal with soft tones. I’m a big fan.
Vero listed this piece above on Raffllrr, an Avalanche marketplace that distributes artwork via a raffle system. This is one of my favourite onchain products onchain developed by Deep Water Studios. It’s an exciting way to interact with artists, and allows for a low cost chance of entry to collect rare works that may otherwise be too expensive to purchase. While writing this article a user listed an infamous piece from the C-chan collection. The price of tickets were so low I decided to sweep the raffle.
Tim is sculpting
One of our original artists onchain, TimDraws is the artist behind the largest gaming Avalanche community Cozyverse, with daily active gamers in their Discord, and a successful studio Cozy Labs releasing 5 mobile games on the App Store. Tim is the visionary behind most of the artwork you see on Cozy.
Lately, Tim has been working with 3D mediums, using Nomad Sculpt to bring the characters from the Cozyverse to life. This year I’ve been playing Fishing Friends, one of the mobile games in the Cozy series. You play as the iconic penguin fishing for rare creatures in an idle RPG. The sprites have a lot of personality, it’s fantastic worldbuilding. I’m excited to see more from Tim in his 3D series for the new game Boat Bashers.
The Drama and the Frog
Most users of Avalanche are familiar with the popular Avalore series, written by long-time community member Smitty. This series features current drama on the timeline, from project founder debates to memorable copypasta.
Frogwell draws the cover for each issue of Avalore. Capturing the essence of the community vibes. No shame, just culture, unfiltered. It’s a unique look at the Avalanche community. Frogwell’s unique style and creative storytelling through the cover artwork is very entertaining. Shoutout to Smitty and Frogwell. I hope to see this series continue for many years to come.
If you’d like to read an article of Avalore, you can check out the community blog Telescope. We have a specific thread on the blog for /drama/.
